Drew Brees Makes History!

October 28th, 2018 By: LVOS Admin (No Comments)

Monday night football!! Ok, we can talk about how the Saints dominated the Redskins to win 43 – 19 but is that really the highlight of the game…not even, that was totally overshadowed by the performance of Drew Brees and his team quickly and swiftly executing plays to put Drew Brew into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  Not only were the Saints working to show the Redskins they were not welcome in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome but they wanted to show the fans this was the game in which their beloved Drew Brees was to make history.  Drew needed 201 yards to pass Peyton Manning for the NFL Leading Passing Yard Record of 71,940 yards. In true style, Drew successfully exceeded the record before the second half with a 62-yard touchdown pass to Tre’Quan Smith.  After the record breaking pass, the football was turned over to the Pro-Football Hall of Fame officials to be preserved in the Pro-Football Hall of Fame.

Congratulations to Drew! What’s that Drew, you say touchdown passes record…stay tuned!!!
